Day 8

We have trundled on to Lowestoft in Suffolk - the most easterly port in the United Kingdom - a milestone for us! Lowestoft appears to be a lovely town - not quite the genteel feeling of Southwold.

Had to post this photo - reminds us of a holiday with friends in Jersey a number of years ago when our children were smaller - wonderful memories Richard, Diane and Nicole. They are now playing Star Wars Music in time with the fountains!

There is also a wonderful mosiac that says:

Eastern skys are first to glimse the spilling light over the North sea, to bring in the new day, over the most Easterly town, freeing us out of the darkness this place will bring the sunrise. Look toward the Eastern sky. Onto the far horizon, where a new day has begun.

Lovely! I just couldn't get it all in a photo
