We are still in Eyemouth, we did consider leaving this morning but the wind was going to be strong and hard work.
We took the bus to Berwick and had a lovely walk around the walls
This is the Beacon at Berwick situated on the walls. You can just see Holy Island to the left and Bamburgh castle to the right in the distance. They appear as tiny dots!
A view out to the harbour.
Berwick is a lovely town. It was then back to the boat, we managed to stop off at the beach in Eyemouth for someone to have a swim!
We walked upon the cliffs in the afternoon and by Eyemouth Golf Course. They have a very famous number 6 hole where you have to hit the ball across ravine onto the green. We saw a couple of golfers and both managed to get the ball on the green.
It happens to be our 28th Wedding Anniversary today - what a delightful way to spend the day. We also spent our first anniversary on a boat - Snowflake. We had sailed her to Poole and returned on the Sunday - our anniversary. We anchored to wait for the tide to turn so we could get back to our mooring. Paul went down below - I had to stay on the cockpit and he had put a Happy Anniversary banner across the inside of the boat - lovely!

Congratulations on your arrival in Scotland. You are going quickly! Congratulations as well on your anniversary I hope you celebrated somewhere nice and didn't have to resort to Paul's culinary skills and a tin opener!
