Day 23

We left Eymouth early morning in the company of two other yachts! Some of you may think that this is normal but for us no - first time ever this trip! We have sailed with one other yacht but not two! That is the thing that we have noticed - the lack of boats or we may just be so used to the Solent and South Coast being so busy!

We had a great sail crossing the Firth of Forth and the mouth of the river Tay leading up to Dundee. It was a glorious day, blue skies and sunny - wonderful but still cold. We saw many Puffins, Guillimots and the very graceful Gannets. We arrived in Arbroath late afternoon.

Arbroath is a small town famous for the Arbroath Smokie - smoked Haddock (Have just looked it up!).

Decisions, decisions at the moment, we are in Arbroath library looking up the weather trying to decide whether to go on or not - watch this space!
