Well we decided to move on to Stonehaven. Just to explain - the next port we could stop at was Stonehaven, it is just a small harbour where your moor up against the harbour wall and if it got windy it could become uncomfortable and not a good place to spend any time at. We worked out that if we went to Stonehaven today, we could then move onto Peterhead the next day. Strong winds were forcast for the Wednesday and if we did not move on then we would have to stay in Arbroath until Thursday.
We ended up motoring the 30 miles to Stonehaven. What a delightful port it was. We moored up against the harbour wall - we were the only boat in there apart from a fishing boat. Jazz had to be hauled up a wall again and we went for a walk. It was such a peaceful evening - delightful.
