We awoke to rain! It had been raining for nearly 24 hours solid!!! WE were all suffering from fever!
Paul, Devon Jazz and I went ashore to walk Jazz and to look at the forcast (no phone signal or internet!) It was improving and should be ok for us to leave at lunchtime and move up to Plymouth. It should not be too bad as we have the wind behind us - but the wave height - 2 meters plus! I was a little nervous to say the least - OK I was not looking forward to it to put it mildly!!
We took Altair over to the Harbour Masters pontoon where we could walk ashore and explore Fowey a little more before we move on. We found a lovely bakery and bough bread and cakes.
WE all got dressed in our oilies and set off. It is 22 miles to Plymouth so should be about a 4 hour journey. We got out there with just the jib up and decided to put the mail up as well. We couldn't really see the land as it was misty and there was quite a swell. Luckily for us it was a fast journey and we rounded Rame Head by about 3pm.

(Photo taken in 2011 - we couldn't see this as it was too misty!)
We then passed Cawsand and into Plymouth Harbor and moored up in Mayflower Marina.
It was then dog walk, showers ashore - wonderful!
We had all wanted to see Finding Dory at the cinema. We went into Plymouth and saw the film (Thank you Devon) which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
As it was Tuesday that meant Steak Night at Wetherspoons and there just happened to be one near to the cinema! You can imagine our disappointment when we found out that they had run out of steaks! We enjoyed our meal and home to bed.
What no steaks on Steak Night I'm sure you had a wonderful meal
