We awoke to rain this morning - heavy rain! and it was showing no signs of stopping! So it was on with the oilies and to take Jazz for a walk - she didn't seem that keen
Once we got out there she enjoyed her walk.
We were thinking of moving on today but due to the weather decided to stay another day. I was so thankful that we were in a good marina, with walk ashore pontoons, internet and mains power. There was no getting the dingy out to take Jazz ashore for a walk. We had good facilities shore. Best of all I had my computer and we had internet to keep someone amused! It was good as I had the chance to do some needlework. The Paul asked me to make some soft shackles
Not brilliant but not bad for a first attempt!
What are they used for you ask? They are used instead of the metal ones on the boat - to joins bits together. They are made from special rope and are meant to be far stronger than the metal ones and kinder to the boat.
It rained on and off all day - we did manage to get another walk and the sun did come out for a while!
