Day 43

It was an early start as we were heading for Tobermory on Mull and wanted to get the tide in the right direction.

A view looking down Lochaline looking towards Mull

We had a delightful sail to Tobermory and arrived at about 10am. Tobermory is a delightful place and has the famous row of houses features in the children's television progromme Balamory

It was then time to explore Tobermory and a walk for Jazz. We walked along the coast path, passed a field of bog cotton which grows on boggy ground

Wonderful views across the Sound of Mull

and waterfalls

View of the harbour - we are on the far side next to the dark blue hull boat with a Netherland ensign

I don't know if it is the weekend or what but Tobermory seems to be a very transient port. We have not encountered so many boats coming and going in a short period of time since we started out trip.
